Mr. Eromosele, whose agency shut the illegal companies, said the companies are currently being prosecuted in court. He also said that during the period under review, 44 people were arrested for various offences, while six fuel tankers were seized from suspected pipeline vandals.
The corps spokesman said that about 214,440 litres of petrol were intercepted from suspected smugglers, while the command assisted some members of the public to recover N5.6 million from suspected fraudsters during the period.
